CADILLAC HOTEL, Seattle
Project Consultant for Historic Seattle
The Cadillac Hotel, originally constructed in 1889 and located in Seattles Pioneer Square District, is a historic preservation and adaptive reuse of a historic structure. When completed, the building will be used as an office and museum for the National Park Service.
Historic Seattle stepped in to acquire and restore the 115 year old building after it was extensively damaged by the 2001 Nisqually earthquake and scheduled for demolition by its prior owner. Catapult Community Developers was hired by Historic Seattle Preservation and Development Authority to provide project and construction oversight.
