Catapult was the successful respondent to the City of Tacoma’s Request for Proposal for redevelopment of the derelict Marcourt Building, a former worker's hospital. Located in the heart of the Theater District and next door to Catapult’s ArtLofts on Market live/work project, this historic landmark has been renovated into a mixed-use building featuring ground floor retail with outdoor seating, and a large public courtyard. The upper floors accommodate 15 market-rate, luxury condominiums. The $5.8 million renovation, designed by Johnston Architects, references the building’s history and adds contemporary accents to create an eclectic and urban feel.
