MARK HUPPERT
Mark Huppert, a co-founder of Catapult Community Developers, identifies and implements community-based real estate and economic development opportunities for clients, partners and investors. Over the past eight years, Mark has applied individual and corporate expertise in real estate acquisitions, development, financial analysis, business systems design, and construction management. He is currently facilitating the redevelopment or creation of over $120 million of property. His current activities include the Puyallup Downtown Village & Senior Center, Triangle Townhomes, and is directing Catapult’s sustainable development consulting services.
Prior to founding Catapult, Mark was Vice President of Development for Cobalt Properties, Inc. While at Cobalt he conceived of and developed over $70 million in multifamily and mixed-use projects in partnership with government agencies and non-profit organizations. From 1990 to 1996, Mark was Northwest Regional Manager for a national mechanical contractor. He managed installations in over $500 million worth of construction including commercial, retail, industrial and educational properties.
Mark is currently on the Board of Directors of the Cascadia Chapter of the US Green Building Council, an advisor to Urban Green, a lecturer for the University of Washington’s Graduate Program in Construction Management, and has served on the Sustainability Task Force and Trustee Nominating Committee for Puget Consumers Coop.
